The Point Crab House & Grill

It's been a long time since I've written a food post so I thought I'd introduce you all to The Point Crab House & Grill. It's a really nice restaurant that is placed along a dock so people are able to launch their boats right next to it while guests sit by the water. It's secluded in a neighborhood but their food will have you going back again and again.

The last time I ate there we got mussels and crab beignets as our appetizers. The mussels are freaking delicious and despite it being an appetizer they give you a good amount. We split it between three people and we all got a good share. But, if I had to choose between mussels and these beignets I would always choose the beignets. Imagine a creamy, crab dip that's deep fried into a ball. They're a pretty decent size but they only give you four at a time. I could survive on these alone so it's probably a good idea that there's a limit. They come with a creamy sauce that I really wish came in a bottle. They're to die for.

For my entree I opted for the fish n chips. Everything on their menu is great though, even their caesar salad. I got 3 hot pieces of fish and fries with tartar sauce. I'm normally not a fan of cod but these were pretty good. BB got their special which is the soft shell crab BLT. I wasn't able to get a picture before he devoured it. BB goes there especially for this burger as it's amazing. It comes with a sauce as well but if you use the crab beignet sauce instead they'll have to drag you out of there.

In all, this restaurant combines amazing seafood with a peaceful yet vibrant environment of being on the water. The only downside is the parking as other boats are parked there so if you don't go at a good time the lot fills up fast. People even park between the boats just to grab a spot. They compensate for this by getting you in and out super fast. We have never waited a long time for our food. Even if there's a waiting time to be seated, you are usually seated less than the time estimated.
